A company generations in the making thinks in terms of more than one generation. We have been an owner-managed company in family hands since 1936 and we want it to stay that way in the future. That’s why we do everything we can to ensure that those who come after us have a future.
We understand sustainability to mean sensible social, ecological and economic management. But that’s not all. For us, sustainability also means providing Switzerland and future generations with goods in a prudent, far-sighted manner and with opportunities for a (more) liveable world. We call the sum of these efforts our «Plan P».
So, for us, sustainability is primarily about everything we do today, tomorrow and in the distant future. And it’s about what keeps us going day after day: people, perspectives, the environment.
The family and the business
Planzer was founded as a horse-drawn carriage business by Max Planzer in 1936 and is also a 100% family-owned public limited company. Today, the third generation is at the helm of our company.
